What is CAC?
The Co-Op Agency Connections, or CAC, is a group organized and run by co-op and intern students across the Agency. Our primary mission is to increase networking between students throughout NASA.
The organization began at Johnson Space Center in 2007 by a few students who wanted to connect with co-ops from other NASA Centers. Today, we have student participation from nearly every NASA Center and have gained recognition from NASA Headquarters for our Co-Op Agency Connections Insider Newsletter, called CACiN.
The CAC board consists of the Project Lead, Secretary, Ombudsman, and one representative from each NASA Center known as the CAC Director. The CAC Directors act as the liaison between the CAC board and their Center’s co-ops and interns. These positions are rotated between NASA students every spring, summer, and fall semester. Every Center also has a CAC sub-committee. Students on these committees work on different projects that help with outreach and professional development.
If you want to get involved or have a question about CAC, please send an email to CAC.NASA@gmail.com.
